Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Firmware/Software design.
  • Functional verification and validation of the code developed.
  • System and integration tests support.
  • Preparation of technical project documentation.
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics or equivalent.
  • Experience in FW embedded design.
  • Experience working with Qt Creator or IAR.
  • Experience in software development on PC (Windows and Linux).
  • Experience in creating applications on Host in C++.
  • Ability to read schematics and knowledge of the main interfaces of the microprocessor (UART, I2C, SPI).
  • Knowledge of the main communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, FTP).
  • Knowledge of the software lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of issue tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of static analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of the safety critical software lifecycle in railways applications (CENELEC EN 50128).
  • Knowledge of the main FW/SW validation techniques and tests.
  • Problem solving skills.
