Position Mission


Service Engineer is responsible for offering after-sales assistance and support to the Customer. He/She deals with the management and resolution of problems that may arise during the use of the products and services offered by the Company by working mainly remotely (email, telephone, etc.). The objective of the Service Engineer is to guarantee a high level of Customer satisfaction in terms of quality and timeliness of the response and the operational continuity of the Company.




The main responsibilities of the Service Engineer are:

• Interact with the Customer in a professional and effective manner

• Keep the Register of Assistance Requests updated (tickets, claims, etc.)

• Collaborate with other Departments (e.g. R&D, T&C, PMO, QC, etc.) to ensure the correct functioning and development of products

• Monitor warehouse stocks and provide feedback to Production

• Check and update the software of returned products and spare parts

• Supervise Suppliers during product repairs

• Check that the Maintenance Manuals are up to date

• Manage Warranty and Extra-Warranty Orders (issue of offers, invoicing, etc.)



Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience


• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Curriculum)

• Minimum experience of 1 year as a Service Engineer in Angel Company or in Industrial Realities (preferably Railway Sector)

• Fluent level of English (written and spoken)

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP software (preferably SAP)

• Strong analytical, planning, organisation, communication and problem solving skills

Position Mission The main task of the V&V engineer is to verify and validate the Specific Applications of ANGELSTAR consisting of on-board signalling subsystems installed on railway vehicles. Directly dependent of the Specific Application V&V manager, the candidate will support this latter in all the activities aimed to validate the ANGELSTAR Specific Applications, to certificate the subsystems and to authorize the railway vehicles   Responsibilities - Support and production technical documentation for Safety Dossier of Specific Application. - Support and production technical documentation for the Certification (EC and National) of CCS-B and RS subsystems - Support and production technical documentation for the authorization of Railway vehicles - Performs RAMS and V&V activities - Perform test activities (V&V test) on vehicles and prepare test reports to be used in the certification process of CCS-B and RS, and for the authorization of Railway vehicles - Participate to project meetings (internal and external with the customers and the stakeholders) - Partecipate to meteengs with Assessment Bodies, National Safety Authorities and ERA - Support the T&C departments during tests, commission and maintenance activities - Support the V&V departments (Generic Application) during the development of new safety systems/products   Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience   - Basic experience in railway field, preferable in the V&V and RAMS - Engineer degree (electronic / telecommunication / electrical / mechanical / automation) or equivalent - Secondary School Diploma in Technical fields or equivalent - Fluent in Italian and English - Knowledge of and experience with general-purpose tools (Microsoft windows office) - Further certifications in electrical or electronic fields will be positively taken into account in the assessment
