Position Mission
Service Engineer is responsible for offering after-sales assistance and support to the Customer. He/She deals with the management and resolution of problems that may arise during the use of the products and services offered by the Company by working mainly remotely (email, telephone, etc.). The objective of the Service Engineer is to guarantee a high level of Customer satisfaction in terms of quality and timeliness of the response and the operational continuity of the Company.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Service Engineer are:
• Interact with the Customer in a professional and effective manner
• Keep the Register of Assistance Requests updated (tickets, claims, etc.)
• Collaborate with other Departments (e.g. R&D, T&C, PMO, QC, etc.) to ensure the correct functioning and development of products
• Monitor warehouse stocks and provide feedback to Production
• Check and update the software of returned products and spare parts
• Supervise Suppliers during product repairs
• Check that the Maintenance Manuals are up to date
• Manage Warranty and Extra-Warranty Orders (issue of offers, invoicing, etc.)
Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Curriculum)
• Minimum experience of 1 year as a Service Engineer in Angel Company or in Industrial Realities (preferably Railway Sector)
• Fluent level of English (written and spoken)
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP software (preferably SAP)
• Strong analytical, planning, organisation, communication and problem solving skills
