POSITION MISSION

In the context of the design and development of Diagnostic Systems for railway applications, MERMEC is looking for candidates for the position of SYSTEM ENGINEER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

The work consists in performing engineering activities on all the products of the Diagnostic Systems Business Unit within but Application and Development projects, providing technical support to all the stakeholders in relation to all the engineering aspects of the product, like technical advisory and operative activities. The candidate shall work within a System Engineering Team reporting to the System Engineering Team Leader and be allocated to specific Product or Application Teams according to the workplan.

Engineering Activities:

· Calibration & Tuning

· Data Analysis

· Investigation and Problem Solving

· Technical Advisory

· Electrical measurements

· Mechanical measurements

· Systems operating


Software activities:

· OS installation and configuration

· Network configuration and diagnostic

· Software installation and configuration

· Standard OS maintenance activities


QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/TECHNICAL SKILLS

The ideal candidate has an electronic or computer science engineering background, with at least two years of working experience in electronic, automotive, railway or oil & gas industry, good communication and autonomy skills, knowledge of English and Italian, availability to travel within the country and abroad. A preliminary training period of 2-4 months will take place before the start of the activities. The training (or part of it) could eventually take place at the parent company facility in Italy.

MISSION La risorsa sarà inserita nell'area progettazione sistemi di catenaria, correnti forti, MT/BT, OOCC per sviluppare progetti di sistemi e impianti elettrici in ambito ferroviario/tramviario e fornire il supporto all'azienda nell'ambito elettrico.   RESPONSIBILITIES - Progettazione, preventivazione, definizione dei materiali e assistenza al cantiere per la realizzazione/manutenzione di impianti di alimentazione, di luce e forza motrice e di sottostazioni elettriche in ambito ferroviario e di trasporto urbano. - Sviluppo e gestione dei progetti nei tempi assegnati, nel rispetto della normativa vigente e degli input ricevuti. - Interfacciarsi con il Cliente e con gli altri reparti   TECHNICAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS - E' richiesta la conoscenza della normativa CEI e della progettazione di impianti elettrici, sistemi di alimentazione elettrica, cabine MT/BT, distribuzione energia e illuminazione. - Diploma di perito elettrotecnico e/o Laurea breve in Ingegneria Elettrica - Utilizzo professionale di autocad e software per la progettazione elettrica. - Costituisce titolo preferenziale la conoscenza delle architetture e delle caratteristiche degli impianti elettrici in ambiente ferro-tramviario e messa in sicurezza delle gallerie ferroviarie. - Costituisce titolo preferenziale la conoscenza sistemi SCADA di gestione, supervisione e configurazione del sistema di alimentazione.

Position Mission RAMS Engineer with 1-3 years of experience working in the railway signaling sector.     Responsibilities   The candidate will carry out: - RAMS analyses, including Reliability (reliability predictions, failure analysis), Maintainability (system maintenance planning) and Safety analyses (Hazard Analyses, Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA), Fault Tree Analyses) according to the RAMS process defined by CENELEC EN 50126 - ·verification of project documents - ·validation activities to demonstrate safety in accordance with CENELEC requirements.     Technical Skills, Qualifications Professional Experience   - Degree in Electronic/telecommunication/computer Engineering - 1- 3 years of RAMS experience in railway or similarly regulated sector - Knowledge of the main techniques for RAMS analysis (FMECA, FTA, RBD, PHA, Hazop) - Preferable working experience with Isograph tool - Knowledge of the main safety architectures according to CENELEC EN 50129 - Knowledge of the RAMS process according to CENELEC EN 50126 - Preferable knowledge of the following European regulations: Reg. EU 2016/919 (CCS TSI), Reg. EU 776/2019, Reg. EU 402/2013. - Specific experience with the ETCS specifications or similar national system is highly desirable. - English language
