The Manufacturing Engineering, reporting to Production Manager, demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Responsibilities
Execute the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements
Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments
Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to engineering problems
Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams and mentor others in the organization
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments
Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and tasks
Actively support the safety, quality, and productivity goals of the operation
Lead special projects as directed by work requests from Engineering or Project Management, which may cover technical advances in producibility / capability studies
Responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI)
Manage component process qualification plans and schedule and ensure processes are developed which deliver highest product quality and meet design criteria
Communicate with Design, Quality, Production Engineering, and Project Management on technical state of each assigned program on a periodic basis
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or Italian technical diploma
At least 5 additional years of engineering experience in an Aviation business.
Oral and written communication skills in both Italian and English
