MISSION

 

The Product Assurance Manager will report to the SITAEL Head of  Equipments Product Assurance. She/He will coordinate the Program's Product and Quality Assurance activity and will guarantee the compliance to the Product and Quality Assurance standards applicable to the Space business. She/he will coordinate the PA activity and will participate to design reviews and inspections points, she/he will ensure that preventive actions are taken into account for known quality issues thus avoiding repetitive and minimizing unexpected problems. She/he will contribute to review Company Standards and propose changes where necessary to update working processes.

 

RESPONSABILITIES

 

  • Managing the implementation of applicable projects Product Assurance requirements
  • Coordination of the activities related to PA/QA disciplines during project's lifetime, in collaboration with the Project Manager and in agreement with the Company and Program applicable rules and standards
  • Proactively seek to ensure that preventive actions are taken account of for known quality issues thus avoiding repetitive problems
  • Managing required quality records and maintaining full materials and process traceability.
  • Ensuring that quality requirements are fully specified and flowed down to suppliers.
  • Performing supplier quality assurance activity, performance monitoring and audits/reviews.
  • Managing control of material's or product's Non-Conformances.
  • Managing compliance to Customer requirements and associated deviations.
  • Chairing quality related reviews and meetings (EQSR, PCB/MPCB, MRR, TRR, DRB etc) and participation to agreed inspection points (KIPs/MIPs)
  • Managing  EEE parts and  M&P control

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Skilled in Product and Quality Assurance norms, rules, standars and processes applicable to the Space business.
  • Experience as PA manager of significant space projects with institutional Customers as ESA and/or ASI
  • Good English language skills

 

LOCATION

 

This position is also available for our Mola di Bari Headquarter.
