We are looking for a self-motivated Junior Controller who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic support in the Business Controlling Area.
Analyze economic/financial results and monitoring the budgeting & forecast control cycle. Doing so you will be identifying potential financial risk areas and supporting; the implementation of risk mitigating activities;
Close teamwork with the Project Management team being involved in all the economic and financial activities;
Actively participate in the monthly closing process, in coordination with the Administration&Finance + Project Management (Operation);
Coordinating all economic/financial aspects of the projects, including estimate at completion and related cost-to-complete, forecasted revenues and risk and opportunities assessments, as well as ensuring alignment with other functions;
Ensuring all commercial & financial reporting on monthly basis underlining issues and opportunities;
Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines/procedures and external regulatory requirements in alignment with Administration&Finance Department;
Supporting adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control and business-specific finance directives and instructions.
Master Degree (Engineering, Accountancy/Finance);
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (focus on Excel);
Experience with SAP (especially CO);
Knowledge of Project Management basis;
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multitask;
Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment, result oriented approach, proactivity, autonomy and open mind;
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong written and verbal communication skills;
POSITION MISSION In this role you will support in the definition of the solutions and you will be in charge of developing cost models throughout the entire life cycle of the opportunity to respond to Customer needs. RESPONSIBILITES You will support the Head of Proposal Dept. and you will work closely with the Mermec engineering, and global sales team to: - Develop cost models and scenario analysis to be presented in bid reviews to top management; - Analyze gaps between Customer specifications and MERMEC product offering to build an effective bid strategy in line with business objectives; - Recommend GO-No GO strategies based on factual data and cost-benefit analysis; - Coordinate the pricing strategy of based on information on competition and market dynamics; - Support in the communication with the Customer in order to obtain a detailed view of product requirements and functionalities. REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Engineering; - Intellectually curious, analytical, highly collaborative, impact driven, and resilient; - Fluent in English (other EU language is a plus); - Proficient knowledge of Office Tools.
